This policy describes what information this website handles, what happens when you choose to contact us, and how to ask about your information.

The contact page asks for your name, phone number, event details, and optionally an event date. The menu enquiry builder also offers optional event type, date, venue area, guest count, meal time, name, and additional requirements. The builder does not ask for a phone number, payment details, or account credentials. Avoid including sensitive information that is not needed for an enquiry.

The form runs in your browser and prepares a WhatsApp message. The website has no form submission endpoint or customer database in this project. Opening the prepared WhatsApp link transfers the message text to WhatsApp; Shivam Caterers receives it only if you choose to send it. WhatsApp then handles the message under its own terms and privacy practices.

If you send an enquiry, Shivam Caterers uses the details to respond, discuss your event, prepare a quotation, and coordinate any service you later agree to. The website itself does not store form submissions. Information sent through WhatsApp may remain in the relevant WhatsApp conversation and in business records kept for handling the enquiry or service.

This project contains links to WhatsApp for enquiries and Google Maps for directions. It does not embed either service. If you follow a link, the destination provider may receive information needed to open the page; information you choose to send through that service is handled under its own policies. No analytics or advertising tags, payment processor, email service, or other data integration is configured in this project.

The website is built as a static Astro site and no hosting provider is identified in the project configuration. The provider used to publish it may process technical request information, such as connection data, under its own terms. The business should update this policy if the live deployment uses additional providers or tracking tools.

No analytics or advertising cookies, localStorage features, or consent tools are configured. The menu builder saves selected dish identifiers in sessionStorage in the current tab so your proposed menu remains available if you revisit this page during the same tab session. Event details are not saved in browser storage. You can remove saved selections with the Clear selections control; sessionStorage normally clears when the tab session ends.

The enquiry draft is assembled in your browser. Nothing is sent to Shivam Caterers until you open WhatsApp and choose Send. The project does not define a server-side storage or security system for enquiries. The business and the providers you choose to use should protect any copies they receive; no specific security measure or protection against every risk is promised here.

You may contact us to ask what enquiry information we hold, request correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We will respond through the available contact channel and handle the request under applicable law. Do not submit personal information about a child through this website unless you are their parent or lawful guardian and it is needed for the enquiry.

This website is intended for adults planning an event and is not designed to collect information directly from children.
